Key Responsibilities

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Management

  • Coordinate and implement MEL frameworks, systems, and data collection processes
  • Design tools for surveys, interviews, focus groups, and case studies
  • Ensure high-quality data collection, validation, and reporting standards

Data Analysis & Research

  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data using tools such as Excel, SPSS, STATA, and statistical software
  • Lead research initiatives to support programme evaluation and impact assessment
  • Translate complex datasets into actionable insights and strategic recommendations

CRM Systems & Digital Data Management

  • Manage and audit Salesforce CRM systems and digital data platforms
  • Support staff in using tools like KoboToolbox, ODK, DHIS2, and CommCare
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date programme databases and reporting systems

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Prepare high-quality donor reports, programme reports, and annual reports
  • Support leadership with annual work planning, tracking, and performance monitoring
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders through data visualization and reporting tools

Capacity Building & Learning Culture

  • Train and mentor staff on monitoring and evaluation tools and methodologies
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning
  • Support organisational development through knowledge sharing and best practices

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Public Health, Social Sciences, or Development Studies
  • Master’s degree in MEL, Project Management, or Public Health (advantage)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation, research, or data analysis roles
  • Experience working in NGOs, INGOs, or development programmes
  • Proven experience designing and implementing MEL systems and frameworks

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in data analysis, data visualization, and statistical reporting
  • Experience with digital data collection tools and CRM systems
  • Ability to produce accurate and timely donor and programme reports
  • Excellent communication skills to present data insights to diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills in programme monitoring and evaluation
