I have Bachelor Degree of science in Aquaculture from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), which I did in 2015.

I have been motivated and inspired to apply for the position of aquaculture development spealist at Worldfish

TANZANIA  because roles and responsibilities of this position aligns  with my education background and professional experience of this position  that I possess that  bring over seven(7) years of experience in aquaculture development, fisheries management, project coordination, and sustainable aquatic food systems.

I have great experience designing and implementing aquaculture projects, providing technical support to fish farmers, strengthening aquaculture value chains, promoting climate-smart aquaculture practices, and facilitating capacity building among stakeholders. As an Aquaculture Project Coordinator, I successfully coordinated aquaculture interventions, farmer training, partnerships, and project delivery. As a Fisheries Technical Coordinator, I supported sustainable fisheries management, community engagement, freshwater biodiversity conservation, and evidence-based resource management.

I have developed strong competencies in project management, stakeholder engagement, monitoring and evaluation, partnership development, and translating research into practical solutions for improved aquaculture productivity and livelihoods. I am committed to advancing sustainable, inclusive, and resilient aquaculture systems aligned with worldfish’s  mission of improving food security, nutrition, and livelihoods
