Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement GIS solutions to support conservation planning and decision-making
- Develop and maintain spatial databases and data models
- Conduct spatial analysis and mapping to support conservation planning and decision-making
- Collaborate with conservation planners and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize conservation areas
- Develop and maintain GIS training materials and provide training to conservation planners and other stakeholders
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in GIS, with a focus on conservation planning and decision-making
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other languages
- Experience with spatial analysis and mapping software, such as ArcGIS or QGIS
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
