Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysicist to join our team in Tanga, Tanzania. As a Geophysicist, you will be responsible for conducting geophysical surveys and interpreting data to identify potential mineral deposits.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in geophysics and experience working in a mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geophysical surveys using a variety of techniques, including seismic and electrical methods
• Interpret data to identify potential mineral deposits
• Develop and implement geophysical models to predict mineralization
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate geophysical data into the mining process

Required Skills

• Master’s degree in Geophysics or a related field
• 8-12 years of experience in geophysics, preferably in a mining environment
• Strong background in geophysical methods and data interpretation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

A Master’s degree in Geophysics or a related field is required. A Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field is an asset.

Experience

8-12 years of experience in geophysics, preferably in a mining environment.

Salary

The salary for this position is 1,000,000 – 1,500,000 SSP per year, depending on experience.
