Food Science and Technology graduate with hands-on quality assurance and laboratory experience across beverage, water, and food manufacturing environments. Skilled in routine and non-routine laboratory testing, including spectrophotometry and microbiological testing (TPC, yeast & mould, coliform), equipment calibration, and documentation and traceability in line with SOPs and regulatory requirements. Experienced in collaborating with production teams to identify root causes of quality deviations and implement corrective actions, supporting internal audits (HACCP, GMP), and preparing quality reports for management. Currently a Quality assurance and quality control officer at TanChoice Limited, and previously a Quality Assurance Officer at Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd, a high-volume bottled beverage production environment. An analytical, detail-oriented professional eager to bring this quality assurance foundation to Heineken's Mwanza production line.
Work & Experience
• Approve or reject raw materials, packaging materials, labeling, and finished products against quality specifications in a HACCP-controlled facility operating to ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 standards. • Investigate quality deviations and customer complaints, applying root-cause analysis and writing reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. • Ensure the latest revision of standard operating procedures is used at all times, and perform and monitor the HACCP plan, Food Safety Plan, and Quality Management Plan.
