Job Overview

The Risk Management Analyst will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks across the bank’s portfolio. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for credit, market, and operational exposures.
• Develop and maintain risk models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Monitor risk indicators and provide timely alerts to senior management.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory risk reports and ensure compliance with the Bank of Tanzania guidelines.
• Collaborate with business units to embed risk‑aware practices into daily operations.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and risk‑modeling software.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of Basel III and local banking regulations.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as FRM or CFA are advantageous.

Salary

The monthly salary range for this position is 2,500,000 to 3,500,000 SSP, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be offered.
