As a Coordinating Officer at the Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries (MoBEF), I coordinate the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Blue Economy programs and projects that promote the sustainable use of marine and coastal resources. I facilitate collaboration among government institutions, development partners, the private sector, research institutions, and local communities to support policy implementation and achieve national development priorities. My responsibilities include coordinating stakeholder engagements, preparing project proposals, work plans, technical reports, and investment profiles; supporting policy and strategic planning processes; organizing workshops, meetings, and capacity-building activities; monitoring project performance and ensuring timely reporting; and providing technical support for initiatives related to fisheries, aquaculture, marine conservation, coastal tourism, and community-based enterprises. I also contribute to research, data collection and analysis, resource mobilization, and the development of evidence-based recommendations that strengthen sustainable Blue Economy development. Through effective coordination, partnership building, and project management, I support the Ministry's mission to enhance economic growth, environmental sustainability, and the livelihoods of coastal communities.

As an Assistant Project Manager at Ikraam Bottlers and Creamery Limited, I supported the planning, coordination, and implementation of manufacturing and business development projects to ensure they were completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to monitor project progress, allocate resources, manage schedules, and prepare technical and progress reports for management. My responsibilities included assisting in production planning, coordinating procurement and logistics activities, monitoring project budgets and performance indicators, supporting quality assurance and regulatory compliance, and facilitating communication among internal departments, suppliers, and external stakeholders. I also contributed to identifying operational risks, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing continuous process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. Through this role, I gained practical experience in project management, operations coordination, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, problem-solving, and business process improvement within the manufacturing and food processing industry.

As a Tutor at Zanzibar University (ZU), I delivered undergraduate courses in Chemistry and related science subjects, facilitating both theoretical instruction and practical laboratory sessions. I prepared course materials, lesson plans, laboratory manuals, and assessments while fostering an engaging and student-centered learning environment. My responsibilities included supervising laboratory experiments, mentoring and advising students on academic and research projects, assessing coursework and examinations, and participating in curriculum development and quality assurance activities. I also contributed to academic research, community outreach, and departmental initiatives aimed at improving teaching, learning, and institutional performance. Through this role, I developed strong expertise in higher education instruction, scientific research, curriculum development, student mentorship, laboratory management, academic administration, and the application of innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning outcomes.

As a Teacher with the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, I taught Biology and Chemistry to secondary school students, delivering high-quality instruction in accordance with the national curriculum. I prepared lesson plans, schemes of work, laboratory practicals, teaching materials, and assessments to promote effective learning and academic achievement. My responsibilities included managing classrooms, evaluating student performance, maintaining academic records, providing academic guidance and mentorship, and organizing co-curricular activities that supported students' personal and academic development. I ensured the safe use of laboratory equipment and promoted scientific inquiry through practical experiments and problem-based learning. I also collaborated with school administrators, fellow teachers, parents, and education stakeholders to improve teaching quality, implement curriculum objectives, and create a positive learning environment. This role strengthened my skills in science education, classroom management, curriculum implementation, student assessment, communication, leadership, and educational administration.
