Strømme Foundation is a Norwegian development organisation focused on creating sustainable change through education, economic empowerment, and community development. In East Africa, it works closely with local partners to improve learning opportunities, strengthen livelihoods, and empower vulnerable communities. Roles • Advising Strømme Foundation’s implementing partners in Tanzania and Kenya on learning and capacity-building frameworks, aligning education and livelihoods portfolios with strategic and growth priorities. • Strengthening monitoring frameworks to enhance data accuracy and consistency across 10 implementing partners organisations in Tanzania and Kenya. • Preparing donor reports and performance reports using MEL data and evidence. • Supporting the management of digital data systems and databases, including KoboToolbox and SurveyCTO, to improve data quality and reporting. • Transforming data (Stata, Power BI) into actionable insights for program impact. • Conduct studies and evaluations, documenting best practices to shape education and livelihood programs

An organization supporting poor and bright students with educational scholarship Led Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) projects to drive organizational strategy and social impact. Enabled data-driven insights to inform decision-making, including the development of the organization’s five-year strategic plan. Developed data dashboards and reporting tools to support programme monitoring and decision-making Designed a poverty model system that ensured accurate measurement and enabled the organisation to objectively identify and support poor students.

Designed M&E systems for marine and livelihood programs, and trainied colleagues in their use to enhance understanding of intervention impacts. Deployed M&E frameworks tracking 20+ metrics across ecological (coral cover, fish stocks) and socio-economic (fisher incomes, alternative livelihoods) outcomes.
