Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing from Ardhi University. Acquired knowledge and practical skills in GIS, remote sensing, spatial data analysis, cartography, GPS surveying, geodatabases, satellite image processing, land use/land cover mapping, and environmental modeling. Proficient in QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, Python, and Microsoft Office. Completed academic and practical projects involving geospatial analysis, climate change, natural resource management, and forest mapping.
Work & Experience
Worked as an external geospatial tutor at the Forest Training Institute (FTI), Olmotonyi, Arusha, Tanzania, teaching geoinformatics technology to ordinary diploma (NTA Level 6) students. Responsibilities included preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures and laboratory practicals, developing examinations and assignments, supervising fieldwork and GIS practicals, assessing student performance, and providing academic mentorship. Taught courses covering Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, GPS and surveying, spatial data analysis, cartography, and applications of geospatial technologies in forestry and natural resource management. Utilized QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, and GPS equipment during instruction.
