Job Overview

This role is ideal for a visionary professional passionate about leveraging technology to enhance educational outcomes. The EdTech Product Manager will lead the development and implementation of digital learning tools tailored to Tanzania’s educational needs. The position requires collaboration with educators, software developers, and stakeholders to create impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage the lifecycle of EdTech products, including learning management systems and interactive content platforms.
• Conduct market research to identify educational technology trends and user needs in Tanzania.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product roadmaps and ensure alignment with educational standards.
• Monitor product performance metrics and iterate on user feedback to improve functionality.
• Partner with schools and universities to pilot new EdTech solutions and gather insights for product refinement.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in product management for educational technology or SaaS platforms.
• Strong understanding of Tanzanian education systems and digital learning challenges.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and product development tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into product strategy.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Education Technology or Business Administration preferred.

Experience

• 3-5 years in educational technology or product management roles.
• Experience in K-12 or higher education sectors.

Salary

3,500,000 – 5,000,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience.
