Job Overview
The Retail Operations Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of the Geita store. Reporting to the Store Manager and the Regional Operations Director, you will analyze sales trends, inventory turnover, and customer behavior to recommend strategic improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze daily sales and inventory data from POS systems.
- Develop weekly and monthly performance dashboards for store management.
- Identify patterns in customer purchasing behavior to support targeted promotions.
- Collaborate with merchandising and supply chain teams to optimize stock levels and reduce shrinkage.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve staff scheduling based on foot traffic analysis.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales per square meter, basket size, and conversion rates.
- Prepare detailed reports for regional leadership highlighting opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Support the implementation of new retail technologies and data collection tools.
