Job Overview
The Supply Chain Analyst will support Maersk’s operations in Morogoro by analyzing data, optimizing processes, and providing actionable insights to improve freight movement, inventory management, and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze supply chain data from internal systems and external partners.
- Develop dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators such as on‑time delivery, inventory turnover, and transportation costs.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational expenses.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to forecast demand, plan capacity, and optimize routing.
- Support the implementation of digital tools, including ERP and TMS platforms, ensuring data integrity and user adoption.
- Prepare regular performance summaries for senior management and provide strategic recommendations.
- Assist in compliance audits and ensure adherence to customs regulations and trade policies.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to cross‑functional teams.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Education

Salary
