Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in Mbeya, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The IT Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and deployment teams, to ensure that projects are delivered successfully. The candidate will also be responsible for managing project budgets, resources, and timelines, as well as identifying and mitigating project risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered successfully.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Required Skills
  • Proven experience in IT project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Ability to develop and implement project management plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, including Asana, Trello, and MS Project.
  • Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

    Experience

    8-12 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

    Salary

    500,000 – 700,000 SSP per annum.
