Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental management plans, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and promoting sustainable agriculture practices among our farmers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, with experience in environmental management and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement environmental management plans to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop strategies to mitigate negative impacts
  • Promote sustainable agriculture practices among farmers, including the use of organic fertilizers and integrated pest management
  • Collaborate with farmers, extension agents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement environmental management plans
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance, including water and soil quality

Required Skills

  • Strong background in environmental science, with experience in environmental management and sustainability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
