As a Supply Chain Manager at Safaricom Tanzania, you will be responsible for leading our logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services to our customers.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in managing logistics and supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies to meet business objectives
  • Manage and coordinate logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services
  • Lead and motivate a team of logistics and supply chain professionals to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure high-quality services
  • Monitor and analyze logistics and supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

Required Skills

  • Strong background in supply chain management, with experience in managing logistics and supply chain operations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles and practices

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

Experience

8-12 years of experience in supply chain management, with experience in managing logistics and supply chain operations
