Job Overview

The Agricultural Data Analyst will join the Data & Insights department in Mwanza, a key hub for sourcing sugarcane and other agricultural inputs. Key Responsibilities

• Gather and integrate data from farms, satellite imagery, IoT sensors, and third‑party agricultural databases.
• Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast crop yields and assess risk factors.
• Develop dashboards and visual reports for procurement, sustainability, and senior management teams.
• Collaborate with agronomists, supply chain managers, and external research institutions to validate findings.
• Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve sourcing efficiency and reduce carbon footprint.
• Maintain data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Support the development of data‑driven policies for sustainable farming practices.

Education

Salary

The monthly salary range for this role is 1,800,000 – 2,500,000 Tanzanian Shilling (SSP), commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives may also be offered.
