Job Overview
The Construction Project Controls Engineer will join the Project Management Office (PMO) to lead cost, schedule, and performance monitoring for large‑scale construction projects in the Lake Victoria region. The role involves developing and maintaining detailed project control systems, analysing variances, and providing actionable insights to senior management. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive project control plans, including cost estimating, budgeting, and scheduling frameworks.
- Maintain and update Earned Value Management (EVM) systems to track project performance against baseline.
- Prepare regular progress reports, variance analyses, and forecast updates for senior management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project engineers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate data flow and alignment of project objectives.
- Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Support contract administration by reviewing change orders and ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
- Utilise industry‑standard software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP for data integration and reporting.

Education

Experience
