Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive digital content strategies that support campaign objectives and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with journalists, producers, and designers to create multimedia assets for online platforms.
  • Manage editorial calendars, ensuring timely delivery of content across social media, website, and mobile channels.
  • Analyze performance metrics and audience insights to optimize content effectiveness.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Creative problem‑solving and strategic thinking.
  • Experience with SEO, audience segmentation, and digital advertising is a plus.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications in digital marketing or content strategy are advantageous.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of proven experience in digital content creation, strategy development, or a similar role within the media, entertainment, or nonprofit sectors. Experience working in Tanzania or East Africa is highly valued.

Salary

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from SSP 1,500,000 to SSP 2,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based incentives may also be provided.
