Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Conservationist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing conservation strategies to protect and manage wildlife habitats in Mbeya region.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys to identify and assess wildlife habitats and ecosystems
- Develop and implement conservation plans to protect and manage wildlife habitats
- Collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to promote conservation efforts
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of conservation strategies
- Provide technical guidance and support to conservation teams
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in conservation and management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
