We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysicist to join our team in Shinyanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geophysical surveys and analyzing data to identify potential oil and gas reserves.
Job Overview
The Geophysicist will work closely with our exploration team to identify potential oil and gas reserves in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting geophysical surveys using various techniques such as seismic and gravity surveys
- Analyzing data to identify potential oil and gas reserves
- Developing and implementing exploration strategies to identify new oil and gas reserves
- Collaborating with our exploration team to identify and evaluate potential oil and gas reserves
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geophysical surveys using various techniques such as seismic and gravity surveys
- Analyze data to identify potential oil and gas reserves
- Develop and implement exploration strategies to identify new oil and gas reserves

Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Geophysics or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in geophysical surveys and data analysis
- Strong knowledge of geophysical principles and techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics or related field from a recognized university
