Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geophysicist to join our team in Sumbawanga, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geophysical surveys and analyzing data to identify potential areas for renewable energy development.
The Geophysicist will work closely with our team of engineers and scientists to design and implement geophysical surveys, and will analyze data to identify potential areas for renewable energy development.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in geophysics and experience in conducting geophysical surveys and analyzing data. They will also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geophysical surveys and analyze data to identify potential areas for renewable energy development
- Design and implement geophysical surveys, including selecting survey locations and equipment
- Analyze data to identify potential areas for renewable energy development, including interpreting seismic and gravity data
- Work closely with our team of engineers and scientists to design and implement geophysical surveys
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Geophysics or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in geophysics, including conducting geophysical surveys and analyzing data
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
