Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geophysics Consultant to join our team in Singida, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing geophysical expertise to support our projects in the region.
The role will involve working closely with our local partners and stakeholders to identify and develop new geophysical survey techniques, and to apply these techniques to real-world problems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geophysics, with experience in data analysis and interpretation. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide geophysical expertise to support our projects in the region
- Develop and apply new geophysical survey techniques
- Work closely with local partners and stakeholders to identify and develop new projects
- Conduct data analysis and interpretation to support project delivery
- Communicate project results to stakeholders and the wider community
Required Skills
- PhD in Geophysics or a related field
- 10 years of experience in geophysics, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluency in English and Swahili
