Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geophysics Research Scientist to join our team in Biharamulo, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in geophysics, with a focus on seismic hazard assessment and mitigation.

The role will involve working closely with our local partners and stakeholders to develop and implement research projects, and to communicate the results of our research to a range of audiences.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in geophysics, and will have experience of working in a research environment. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in geophysics, with a focus on seismic hazard assessment and mitigation
