Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Hydropower Plant Technician to join our operations team in Kasulu. This role is critical to ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our hydroelectric facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of turbines, generators, and control systems. This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within a water-driven power environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on turbines, governors, and electrical control panels.

- Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure all operations comply with strict safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement system upgrades and efficiency improvements.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and water flow dynamics.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent physical stamina for working in remote field locations.

Education
A minimum of a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Certification in specialized hydropower equipment maintenance is a significant advantage.
Experience
Candidates must possess at least 3 to 5 years of direct experience in industrial plant maintenance, preferably within the energy or heavy manufacturing sector. Proven experience with rotating machinery is highly desirable.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 2,500,000 to 4,500,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical certifications.
