Job Overview
TBC is seeking a creative and technically proficient Multimedia Content Creator to design, produce, and manage digital content across television, radio, and online platforms. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about storytelling through video, audio, and interactive media. The position is based in Moshi, a vibrant city in northern Tanzania known for its media innovation hubs and proximity to Mount Kilimanjaro.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging multimedia content (video, audio, graphics) for TV, radio, and digital platforms
- Collaborate with journalists and producers to create story-driven content aligned with TBC’s editorial standards
- Edit and finalize content using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere, Audition, etc.)
- Optimize content for SEO and social media distribution
- Conduct field recordings and interviews for news and documentary projects
Required Skills
- Proficiency in video editing, audio production, and graphic design
- Strong understanding of digital media trends and audience engagement strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swahili and English
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of copyright laws and ethical media practices
Education
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline. Additional certifications in digital content creation or media production are advantageous.
Experience
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in multimedia content creation, preferably in a broadcast or digital media environment. Experience with live event coverage and remote field production is a plus.
Salary
2,500,000 – 3,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and portfolio quality.
