Job Overview

TBC is seeking a creative and technically proficient Multimedia Content Creator to design, produce, and manage digital content across television, radio, and online platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging multimedia content (video, audio, graphics) for TV, radio, and digital platforms
  • Collaborate with journalists and producers to create story-driven content aligned with TBC’s editorial standards
  • Edit and finalize content using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere, Audition, etc.)
  • Optimize content for SEO and social media distribution
  • Conduct field recordings and interviews for news and documentary projects

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in video editing, audio production, and graphic design
  • Strong understanding of digital media trends and audience engagement strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swahili and English
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of copyright laws and ethical media practices

Education

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline. Additional certifications in digital content creation or media production are advantageous.

Experience

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in multimedia content creation, preferably in a broadcast or digital media environment. Experience with live event coverage and remote field production is a plus.

Salary

2,500,000 – 3,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and portfolio quality.
