Job Overview

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will lead TBL’s regulatory strategy for all products manufactured at the Arusha facility. This role involves interpreting legislation, preparing submissions, and liaising with government agencies such as the Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority (TFDA). Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive regulatory affairs strategy aligned with Tanzanian and international regulations.
  • Prepare, submit, and track product registrations, label approvals, and change notifications with TFDA and other relevant authorities.
  • Monitor legislative updates, assess impact on existing and upcoming products, and advise cross‑functional teams.
  • Lead internal audits and support external inspections to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Maintain a regulatory database, ensuring all documentation is current, accurate, and readily accessible.
  • Provide training and guidance to R&D, production, and marketing on regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to manage risk and resolve compliance issues.
  • Represent TBL in industry forums, regulatory workshops, and stakeholder meetings.

Required Skills

  • In‑depth knowledge of Tanzanian food, beverage, and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Education
