We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Urban Planner to join our team in Tunduru, Tanzania.
Job Overview
The Sustainable Urban Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable urban planning strategies and projects in Tunduru and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will work closely with local government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders to identify and address urban planning challenges.
The Sustainable Urban Planner will also be responsible for conducting research and analysis on urban planning issues, developing and implementing sustainable urban planning policies and programs, and providing technical assistance to local government officials and community leaders.
The Sustainable Urban Planner will be based in Tunduru and will be required to travel frequently to other parts of Tanzania and internationally.

Required Skills
Education
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Urban Planning or a related field. A Ph.D. in Urban Planning or a related field would be an asset.
Experience
The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in urban planning, with a focus on sustainable development. Experience working in Africa, particularly in Tanzania, would be an asset.
Salary
The salary for this position is 1,000,000 – 1,500,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience.
