Job Description (Key Duties & Responsibilities)

Clinic Operations & Medical Support (70%)

The Employee Medical & Wellbeing Officer will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee medical concerns and emergencies
  • Respond quickly to medical incidents within accommodation and lodge areas
  • Support medical doctors during:
    • Consultations
    • Treatments
    • Medical procedures
  • Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential employee medical records
  • Manage:
    • Medical examinations
    • HACCP compliance records
    • First Aid documentation
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Tanzanian health and occupational safety regulations
  • Maintain clinic hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
  • Manage medical supplies, pharmacy inventory, and healthcare stock levels
  • Coordinate with healthcare partners and external stakeholders for referrals and medical support
  • Prepare monthly medical and clinic reports
