Job Overview
The Digital Governance Analyst will support the implementation of digital governance projects in Njombe, collaborating with local government agencies, NGOs, and technology partners. This role is critical to designing, testing, and scaling digital tools that improve transparency, efficiency, and citizen participation in public administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital governance strategies aligned with national and local priorities.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to digitize public service workflows (e.g., licensing, tax collection).
- Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies for digital governance initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance on cybersecurity, data privacy, and digital ethics in public administration.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of digital governance projects using KPIs and stakeholder feedback.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on governance and technology integration.
- Experience in public sector digital transformation projects.
- Proficiency in digital governance frameworks (e.g., e-Government, open data platforms).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Fluency in English and Swahili.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Information Technology, Political Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in digital governance, public administration, or technology for development (T4D) projects. Prior work in Tanzania or East Africa is preferred.
Salary
3,000,000 – 4,500,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
