Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Analyst to join our team in Njombe, Tanzania. The successful candidate will work closely with our conservation scientists to analyze and interpret geospatial data, informing conservation decisions and strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret geospatial data to inform conservation decisions
• Develop and maintain geospatial databases and maps
• Collaborate with conservation scientists to design and implement conservation projects
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations

Required Skills

• Master’s degree in Geospatial Analysis or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in geospatial analysis and conservation
• Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Education

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Geospatial Analysis or a related field. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is an added advantage.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in geospatial analysis and conservation, with a strong background in GIS software and data analysis.

Salary

The salary for this position is 1,000,000 – 1,500,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience.
