Job Overview

The Supply Chain Sustainability Analyst will play a pivotal role in integrating sustainability principles into Unilever’s end‑to‑end supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to assess environmental impact and identify improvement areas.
• Develop and implement sustainability metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with Unilever’s Responsible Sourcing Policy.
• Support the design of low‑carbon logistics routes and packaging optimization projects.
• Prepare regular sustainability performance reports for senior leadership.
• Assist in the development of training materials on sustainable practices for internal teams.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks such as GRI, CDP, and UN SDGs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Project management experience, preferably in a supply chain context.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence without direct authority.

Education

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications in sustainability (e.g., LEED, GRI) or a Master’s degree are considered a strong advantage.

Experience

A minimum of three to five years of experience in supply chain analysis, sustainability consulting, or related roles within the consumer goods or manufacturing sector is required. Prior exposure to the Tanzanian market or East African supply chains will be highly valued.

Salary
