Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Shinyanga, Tanzania. The successful candidate will work closely with our conservation team to develop and implement sustainable development projects that promote environmental conservation and community development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments, developing sustainable development plans, and working with local communities to promote environmental conservation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for development projects
- Develop sustainable development plans for communities and organizations
- Work with local communities to promote environmental conservation and sustainable development
- Collaborate with government agencies and other stakeholders to implement conservation projects
- Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in environmental sustainability or a related field
- Strong knowledge of environmental conservation principles and practices
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with local communities
Education

Salary
The salary for this position is 5,000,000 – 7,000,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience.
