Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geoenvironmental Consultant to join our team in Morogoro, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our conservation programs, with a focus on environmental impact assessments, geospatial analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and geospatial analysis to inform conservation decision-making
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to promote conservation efforts
- Provide technical expertise and support to conservation programs, including habitat restoration and species conservation
- Collaborate with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to advance conservation goals
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in environmental consulting or conservation
- Strong technical skills in geospatial analysis, environmental impact assessment, and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent communication and project management skills
Education
The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field from a recognized university.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in environmental consulting or conservation, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects and results.
Salary
The salary for this position is 250,000 – 350,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience.
