Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Biologist to join our team in Tunduru, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field research and monitoring programs to assess the impact of human activities on the environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, ecology, or a related field, and experience working in a developing country. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The position will involve:
- Conducting field research and monitoring programs to assess the impact of human activities on the environment
- Collecting and analyzing data on environmental indicators, such as water and air quality, and habitat health
- Developing and implementing conservation plans to protect and restore natural habitats
- Collaborating with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote environmental conservation
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field research and monitoring programs to assess the impact of human activities on the environment
- Collect and analyze data on environmental indicators, such as water and air quality, and habitat health
