Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Conservation Specialist to join our team in Tanga, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing conservation projects, working with local communities, and collaborating with government agencies and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental conservation, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement conservation projects in collaboration with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct fieldwork to monitor and assess the impact of human activities on the environment.
- Collaborate with local communities to develop and implement sustainable livelihoods.
- Work with government agencies and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and regulations that promote environmental conservation.
- Develop and manage budgets and project plans.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation, project management, and community engagement.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
Experience
5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation, project management, and community engagement.
Salary
