We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Biologist to join our team in Dodoma, Tanzania.

Job Overview

The Environmental Biologist will be responsible for conducting research and development programs in environmental conservation, with a focus on agroforestry and sustainable land use practices. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of scientists and partners to design and implement projects that address the needs of smallholder farmers and rural communities.

The position will involve conducting field research, collecting and analyzing data, and developing and implementing conservation plans. The successful candidate will also be responsible for communicating research findings to stakeholders and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development programs in environmental conservation, with a focus on agroforestry and sustainable land use practices.

Required Skills

• Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.

Education

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field. A Ph.D. in Environmental Science or a related field is an added advantage.

Experience

The successful candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in environmental conservation, with a focus on agroforestry and sustainable land use practices. Experience working in Africa is highly desirable.

Salary

The salary for this position is 1200000 – 1800000 SSP per year, depending on experience.
