Job Overview
The Construction Project Engineer will lead the planning, execution and monitoring of construction projects in the Mtwara region, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors and clients to translate design specifications into practical construction solutions. The engineer will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines and corporate policies. Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project execution plans, including schedules, resource allocation and cost estimates.

- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a closely related discipline from an accredited university is required. Professional certifications such as PMP, PE or equivalent are advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience
Applicants must have 3 to 5 years of proven experience in construction engineering, preferably on large‑scale infrastructure or commercial projects. Experience in the Tanzanian construction sector or familiarity with local building codes is highly valued.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 4,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and pension contributions.
