Job Overview

The Construction Project Controls Engineer will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and reporting on project performance metrics for multiple construction sites in the Tabora region. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Track cost performance, forecast expenditures, and prepare variance analysis reports.
  • Coordinate with site engineers to collect progress data and update earned value metrics.
  • Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance dashboards for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support procurement and logistics teams by providing accurate forecast data.
  • Facilitate regular project control meetings and document action items.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in project control software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).

Education
