Job Overview

We are seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Tunduru, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable practices and initiatives that promote environmental conservation and community development.

The Sustainability Consultant will work closely with local stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and private sector partners, to identify opportunities for sustainable development and implement projects that promote environmental conservation and community well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainable practices and initiatives that promote environmental conservation and community development
  • Work with local stakeholders to identify opportunities for sustainable development and implement projects that promote environmental conservation and community well-being
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform sustainable development initiatives and projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and private sector partners
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of sustainable development initiatives and projects

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in sustainability, environmental conservation, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English and Swahili

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
