We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Impact Analyst to join our team in Mbeya, Tanzania.
Job Overview
The Environmental Impact Analyst will be responsible for assessing the environmental impact of development projects and providing recommendations for mitigation and adaptation measures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and experience working in a developing country context.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for development projects
- Develop and implement strategies for mitigating and adapting to environmental impacts
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure environmental considerations are integrated into project design and implementation
- Provide technical assistance to project teams on environmental issues
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
