Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geologist to join our Exploration team in Singida, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geological surveys and mapping, and for providing geological advice and support to our mining operations.
The role will involve working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and will require the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of geological principles and practices, and will be able to communicate complex technical information effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geological surveys and mapping to identify potential mineral deposits
- Provide geological advice and support to our mining operations
- Develop and implement geological models to inform mining decisions
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement exploration strategies
- Communicate complex technical information effectively to stakeholders
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of geological principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field
