Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team in Tanga, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our conservation projects, including conducting environmental impact assessments, developing conservation plans, and collaborating with local stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, conservation biology, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop conservation plans for our projects
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders, including communities, governments, and NGOs
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans for our conservation projects
  • Provide technical expertise and support to our conservation projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders
  • Required Skills
  • Strong background in environmental science, conservation biology, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
