Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our Research and Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing data science projects, developing and implementing data-driven solutions, and collaborating with colleagues across the university to advance our research and innovation agenda.
The Data Scientist will work closely with our faculty and staff to design and implement data-driven solutions to complex problems, and to develop and maintain data analytics tools and platforms. They will also be responsible for mentoring and supervising junior staff and students, and for contributing to the development of our data science curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and statistics, and will have experience working with large datasets and complex data systems. They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and will be able to work effectively with colleagues across the university.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data science projects, including designing and implementing data-driven solutions, and collaborating with colleagues across the university.
- Develop and implement data analytics tools and platforms, including data visualization and machine learning algorithms.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff and students, and contribute to the development of our data science curriculum.

Required Skills
- PhD in Data Science or related field.
