Job Overview

The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the structural design and analysis of complex construction projects in Shinyanga and surrounding areas. Reporting to the Project Director, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all designs meet local codes, international standards, and client expectations. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design for commercial, industrial, and residential projects from concept through construction.
  • Perform advanced calculations, finite element analysis, and load assessments to ensure structural integrity.
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports in compliance with Tanzanian building codes and international standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to resolve design conflicts and optimize project outcomes.
  • Conduct site inspections and supervise on‑site implementation of structural works.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the design team.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments related to structural components.

Required Skills

Education

Salary
