Job Overview

Arusha International School is seeking a qualified Teacher to join its academic team in Arusha. The teacher will deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.

This position requires an educator committed to holistic student development, active engagement in school activities, and integration of technology into the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement lesson plans and instructional activities.

Monitor and evaluate student performance, assignments, and exams.

Support individual student learning through academic guidance and mentoring.

Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Incorporate educational technology and digital tools into lessons.

Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional workshops.

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and academic projects.

Support co-curricular activities including clubs, sports, and arts programs.

Prepare academic reports and provide constructive feedback.

Promote critical thinking, creativity, and holistic student development.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant subject area

3–5 years teaching experience

Knowledge of modern pedagogical approaches, assessment strategies, and classroom management

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Adaptability to innovative learning tools and teaching methods

Salary & Benefits

Annual Salary: Approximately TZS 10,800,000 – TZS 15,000,000 per year
