Job Overview

The Audit Senior Manager will lead audit engagements for major corporations, financial institutions, and public sector entities, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing and Tanzanian regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and supervise complex audit engagements from inception to completion.
  • Lead and mentor audit teams, providing guidance on technical and professional matters.
  • Assess internal controls, identify risk areas, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Prepare and present audit findings, financial statements, and management letters to senior client stakeholders.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Tanzanian accounting standards, IFRS, and regulatory changes.
  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and networking events.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in audit software such as CaseWare, IDEA, or ACL.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are highly preferred and demonstrate a commitment to the profession.

Experience

Applicants must have 5‑7 years of progressive audit experience, preferably within a Big Four or reputable professional services firm. Experience in managing large‑scale audits for listed companies, banks, or government entities is essential.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 2,500,000 to 4,000,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the total rewards structure.
