Job Overview

KPMG Tanzania is seeking a Blockchain Solutions Architect to design, develop, and implement blockchain-based systems tailored to the needs of Tanzanian and regional clients. This role will focus on leveraging decentralized technologies to address challenges in supply chain management, financial services, and public sector operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and sustainable blockchain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect blockchain solutions for clients in finance, logistics, and public administration.
  • Develop smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps) using platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger, and Solana.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for blockchain integration projects.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior developers and stakeholders during implementation phases.
  • Monitor and optimize blockchain network performance for scalability and efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in blockchain development frameworks and tools (Solidity, Truffle, Ganache).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and API integrations.
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols and consensus mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for decentralized systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili for client communication.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
