We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Security Specialist to join our team in Kondoa, Tanzania.
Job Overview
The Data Center Security Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust security infrastructure for our data centers in Tanzania.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and experience in designing and implementing security solutions for data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive security strategy for our data centers in Tanzania
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls
- Develop and implement incident response plans to mitigate the impact of security breaches
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that security measures are aligned with business objectives
Required Skills
- Strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on data center security
- Experience in designing and implementing security solutions for data centers
- Knowledge of security protocols, including SSL/TLS and IPsec
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
