We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forensics Specialist to join our team in Tanga, Tanzania. As a Digital Forensics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and investigating cyber threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing strategies to mitigate risks. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and investigate cyber threats, identifying vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate risks
- Conduct digital forensics analysis, including network traffic analysis, system logs analysis, and data recovery
- Develop and implement incident response plans, ensuring timely and effective response to cyber threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address cybersecurity risks
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and technologies, providing recommendations for improvement
Required Skills
- Strong background in digital forensics, with experience in analyzing and investigating cyber threats
- Proficiency in digital forensics tools and technologies, including network traffic analysis and system logs analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and strategically
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, including NIST and ISO 27001
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
