Job Overview
This role is ideal for a dynamic professional passionate about transforming education through technology. The Educational Technology Integration Specialist will lead initiatives to implement digital learning platforms, train educators on emerging technologies, and evaluate the effectiveness of tech-driven teaching methods. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Tanzania’s educational advancement while working with international partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology integration strategies for schools and training centers
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for teachers on digital tools and platforms
- Evaluate educational software and hardware solutions for suitability in Tanzanian contexts
- Collaborate with local institutions to design blended learning curricula
- Monitor and report on the impact of technology integration on student outcomes
Required Skills
- Expertise in educational technology platforms (e.g., LMS, interactive whiteboards)
- Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and digital learning methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Problem-solving abilities with a focus on educational challenges
- Fluency in Swahili and English
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field
- Master’s Degree preferred
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in educational technology implementation
- Proven track record in teacher training programs
- Experience working in Tanzanian educational environments
Salary
3,000,000 – 4,500,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
